Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about GPUHound

What is GPUHound and how does it work?

GPUHound is your smart GPU deal finder! We automatically scan eBay listings for graphics cards and rank them by performance-to-price ratio (our 'Value Score'). This helps you quickly identify which GPUs offer the best bang for your buck without spending hours comparing listings.

How is the 'Value Score' calculated?

Our Value Score is simply the GPU's performance benchmark (G3D Mark score) divided by its total price (including shipping). The higher the score, the better the value. It's like getting more 'gpu power' for your dollar!

What is the G3D Mark score and why is it important?

G3D Mark is a standardized benchmark score from PassMark that measures a GPU's 3D rendering performance. It's widely recognized in the industry and gives you an objective way to compare different GPU models. We use it as the 'performance' part of our performance-to-price ratio.

What markets do you support?

We support deals from 6 markets: US (eBay US), UK (eBay UK), Canada (eBay Canada), Germany (eBay Germany), France (eBay France), and Italy (eBay Italy). You can switch between markets using the selector at the top of the page. Want to see your market supported? Let us know!

How often are deals updated?

Our deal database is refreshed every few hours with the latest listings from eBay. This ensures you're always seeing recent deals rather than outdated ones. We also filter out listings that are clearly not GPUs or are priced unrealistically.

Why should I trust these deals?

We don't create or modify any listings - we simply aggregate existing eBay listings and rank them by value. All deals link directly to eBay, so you can see the seller's ratings, return policy, and other details before purchasing. We're transparent about our methodology and don't manipulate rankings.

Can I filter by specific GPU models?

Absolutely! Use the search box in the filters sidebar to search for specific GPU models (like 'RTX 3080' or 'RX 6700'). You can also filter by price range, performance range, supported websites, and delivery availability.

Will you support GPUs under 14000 G3D score?

Great question! We found that most users don't require GPUs under this score for their gaming or professional needs. However, if you have a specific request for lower-end GPUs, we're happy to consider including them! Just reach out through our contact page and let us know what you need. We're always looking to improve GPUHound for all users.

What do the different filters mean?

Our filters help you narrow down deals to exactly what you need: 'Price Range' sets min/max spending limits; 'Performance Range' filters by G3D Mark score; 'Websites' lets you choose which retailers to include; 'Delivery Only' shows items that can be delivered to your market; and the search box finds specific GPU models.

How can I contact you about a specific deal?

For issues with specific listings, we recommend contacting the seller directly through eBay. If you have general feedback or want to report a bug with GPUHound itself, use our Contact page. We'd love to hear from you!

Do you make money from these links?

Yes, we participate in eBay's affiliate program. When you click on a deal and make a purchase, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps support GPUHound's development and server costs. We only feature deals that genuinely offer good value - our reputation depends on it!

How can I suggest a new feature?

We love hearing ideas from our users! Visit our Contact page and select 'Feature Request' as the topic. Whether it's a new filter, additional markets, or a completely new feature, we read every suggestion. The best ideas often come from users who know what they need!
